SLC is under the leadership of its member Kgositoi Aubrey Sedupane. Kgositoi is an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa. He completed a pupillage programme with the Gauteng Society of Advocates. He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Human Rights Law – UFS Bloemfontein Campus; Baccalaureus Legum (LLB) degree – UNW Mahikeng Campus; Programme in Public Procurement and Supply Manage – UNISA main campus.

Kgositoi has extensive experience in the public and private sector. He has 16 years - experience in the public sector, at the SA Human Rights Commission and CRL Rights Commission, and 10 years in the private sector as an independent legal consultant. He served as Senior Manager: Legal Services & Conflict Resolution for 10 years in the public sector. Kgositoi has strategic leadership capabilities, change management and organisational transformation know-how having served one year as acting chief executive officer at the CRL Rights Commission where he initiated and partially implemented the organisational transformation plan, centralised procurement component as well as merged two units to avoid duplication of work and use available resources effectively and efficiently.
